European International School of Barcelona is seeking a passionate Catalan Teacher to join our Secondary team in Sant Cugat del Vallès. The role emphasizes engaging lessons, curriculum development, and assessment to inspire students across ESO, Baccalaureate, and IB programs.

The ideal candidate has a strong educational background, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach, with willingness to grow professionally within a diverse, supportive community.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Two years of previous experience in similar positions.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• A valid work permit to work in Spain.
• Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students in Secondary (ESO, Baccalaureate & IB).
• Develop and implement curriculum in line with school standards and educational best practices.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

EISB is surrounded by the 8.465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14.000m2 plot with 10.503m2 of constructed spaces for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, a library, auditorium, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and a fully-equipped kitchen.
