Are you passionate about language education and ready to make a positive impact on young learners? A school located in Portals within the municipality of Calvià, Mallorca, is currently recruiting a dedicated Secondary Catalan and Spanish Teacher. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of teaching both Catalan and Spanish language and literature to secondary school students, fostering an engaging and supportive academic environment on the island.

Primary tasks and responsibilities in this teaching role include:

• Delivering high-quality instruction in both Spanish and Catalan language to secondary school classes according to curriculum standards.
• Designing, preparing, and implementing structured lesson plans that encourage active student participation and linguistic development.
• Evaluating student progress through continuous assessment, exams, and coursework while offering constructive guidance.
• Collaborating with the educational team to maintain a productive, motivating, and well-managed classroom atmosphere.

Formal criteria and qualifications:

• Completed first-cycle university education / Degree in Humanities (Grado en Humanidades) or equivalent recognized academic degree.
• Completed Master's Degree in Secondary Education (Máster de Formación del Profesorado / CAP) qualifying you for secondary school teaching.
• Proven Catalan language proficiency at level C1.
• Strong communication skills and a committed approach to secondary education.

Position details:

• A permanent contract (contrato indefinido).
• Full-time working hours with a daily schedule from 08:00 to 16:00.
• A gross annual salary of 30,412.92 EUR.
• A workplace located in the Portals area of Calvià.
