SEK Catalunya International School is seeking an Early Years Teacher to join its academic team with immediate availability. The successful candidate will nurture young learners in a warm, play-based setting, emphasizing exploration, communication and curiosity.

Requirements include a degree in Early Years Education, EY teaching experience, IB PYP familiarity, and native English proficiency. The role is a temporary cover with regular family communications and participation in school events.

Formación

• University degree in Early Years Education or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous teaching experience in Early Years.
• IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) experience is highly valued.
• Native or native-level English proficiency.
• Strong pedagogical and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to individual needs of students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to teamwork and collaborative practice.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement teaching plans for transdisciplinary and disciplinary units.
• Participate in Early Years team meetings and collaborative planning.
• Observe, document and assess children's development using age-appropriate tools.

• Participate in school events, including celebrations, festivals and Open Days.

We Offer

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:20 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Contract: Temporary cover position.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
• Salary: According to the applicable agreement.
