Job summary

Silversea seeks an experienced luxury butler to join our guest services team aboard our cruise ships. You will deliver personalised butler service to VIP guests and ensure flawless in-suite experiences. Requirements include 2+ years in Butler/guest facing roles, a recognised luxury service certification, and shipboard experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Butler/guest facing experience in luxury hotel, resort or cruise line environment.
• Professional Butler or luxury service certification such as The International Butler Academy is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with additional languages as asset (French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional butler services to guests.
• Fulfill guest orders, requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of VIP suites.
• Ensure in-suite arrival procedures meet brand standards.
• Lead, coach and develop the Butler Team to deliver superior service.
• Mentor and prepare the Senior Butler for managerial responsibilities.
• Meet or exceed brand KPIs for the Butler Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of exceptional butler services to guests


• Ensure all guest orders, requests, enquiries are fulfilled timely & efficiently


• Conduct embarkation inspections of all VIP suites


• Ensure in-suite arrival procedures are executed to brand standards.


• Lead, coach, train, and develop the Butler Team to consistently deliver superior service performance aligned with brand expectations.


• Mentor and prepare the Senior Butler for managerial responsibilities


• Meet or exceed brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the Butler Team.
