Job summary

Julius Baer in Madrid is seeking an IT Architect to lead the redesign of the finance system landscape based on SAP BW/4HANA. You will translate complex requirements into concrete work packages and drive their implementation.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP BW/4HANA, ABAP AMDPs, HANA calculation and CDS views, with a strong Finance Data Model in Banking. Excellent communication, independence and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SAP BW/4HANA with ADSO transformations.
• AMDPs with table functions and ABAP CDS views.
• Creation of SAP HANA calculation views (SQL-based).
• Strong understanding of Finance Data Model in Banking.
• Experience managing full development lifecycle (testing & docs).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Wealth Management/Banking and Finance knowhow is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP FSDM and SAP PaPM is a plus.
• Independent, resilient and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of work packages and contribute hands-on.

On the other hand, to IT delivery, for the implementation of software architectures. IT Architects define Architecture Standards and are responsible for ensuring compliance during delivery and adherence in production.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Drive with us the complete redesign of the finance system landscape at Julius Baer based on SAP BW/4HANA

• Understands the overall requirements and solution design across multiple workstreams and help us to break this down into work packages

• Lead the implementation of these work packages and partly implement yourself

• Analyse the existing data and reporting flows and improve the future set-up

YOUR PROFILE

• Good understanding and demonstrable experience (5 years +) in SAP BW/4HANA

• Modelling BW/4HANA objects such as ADSO transformations, etc

• Developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) with table functions

• Creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based ones)

• Designing ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) views

• Ability to manage the entire development lifecycle (including testing and documentation)

• Good understanding of the Finance Data Model in Banking

• Good communication and presentation skills, confident appearance

• Independent, resilient and team player with excellent problem-solving skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibility

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, quantitative finance, (business) informatics, data science or a comparable field of study

• Fluent in English, German is a plus

• Wealth Management/Banking and Finance Knowhow is a plus

• Knowledge of SAP FSDM, SAP PaPM is a plus
