Werfen is seeking a Sales Application Specialist Biotechnology to drive sales while monitoring technical status of instrumentation, reagents and IT solutions. You will focus on Central Lab, Pathology, Hematology, Genetics and Oncology labs, promoting NGS and qPCR workflows with hands-on expertise.

You will provide application support, advise on laboratory organization, coordinate installations with Logistics and Service teams, and train customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or related discipline.
• Experience in molecular biology with solid knowledge of NGS and qPCR/Real‑Time PCR workflows.
• Desirable experience in Pathology, Hematology and Genetics areas.
• Knowledge of oncology and genetic testing is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Achieve sales and commercial targets established by the Company.
• Provides application support.
• Supports laboratory organization improvement by providing technical advice and tailored solutions, focusing on NGS and qPCR workflows.
• Encourages cross‑selling by providing product information and introducing efficient molecular techniques.
• Resolves commercial matters related to Cytogenetics with agility and proactive customer follow‑up.
• Be able to present products and concepts to institutions, end users, clinicians, and expert groups.
• Coordinate instrument installations with Logistics, Technical Service and Marketing teams.
• Provide first level (remote and/or on‑site) technical support to customer accounts and assist integration of systems.
