ESTEVE, headquartered in Barcelona, is seeking a Billing and Revenue Specialist to organize and optimize the company’s billing and revenue processes. You will collaborate with sales to ensure accurate invoicing, forecasting, and timely collections, while supporting the finance teams with dashboards and reports.

The role requires a degree in business or economics, strong SAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel/Power BI. Fluency in English and Spanish/Catalan is expected.

• Organize and manage the company’s billing process including revenue forecasting, issuing invoices, and tracking payments.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless customer experience and support sales targets.
• Prepare monthly billing forecast with the BAM team.
• Issue invoices per client agreements and monitor collections.
• Prepare periodic reports on billing status and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax and administrative requirements with AR and Tax teams.

BILLING AND REVENUE SPECIALIST

FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

Main Role

Responsible for organizing and efficiently managing the company’s billing process, including revenue forecasting, invoice issuance, and payment tracking. Collaborates closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience and support the achievement of sales targets.

• Prepare the monthly billing forecast in collaboration with the BAM team.
• Issue invoices in accordance with the commercial agreements established with clients.
• Monitor payments and manage collections control.
• Resolve billing-related issues in collaboration with the BAM team.
• Prepare periodic reports on billing status and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and administrative requirements in coordination with the Accounts Receivable and Tax departments.
• Anticipate impact of invoicing in the company results (Net Revenue, Profitability, Cash Flow) with enough time to propose alternative to ensure the achievement of the expected results.
• Reporting and analysis. Create Reports, Dashboards, KPIs to monitor the area’s performance, using SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 collaborative toolsrepare periodic reports.
• Continuous improvement and digitalization. Identify opportunities for improvement in billing and logistics processes. Promote automation, standardization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee logistics of shipments. Supervise shipments to ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met. Coordinate with the warehouse, agents, and carriers. Prepare export and customs documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the logistics of sending product samples to the client. Prepare the shipping documentation.

JOB PROFILE

Required Studies

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency on Excel, Power Point, Power BI.

Other specialized knowledge

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or similar) and basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence applied to business processes (automation, predictive analytics, reporting enhancement).
• Knowledge of planning tools (e.g., Scheduler).
• Client management/relationship
• Lean manufacturing optional

Languages

• English level C1 or Advanced.
• Spanish or Catalan.

Professional experience

• Experience in Administration, Finance, and Commercial Management.
• Preferred experience in API manufacturing or fine chemical industry.
• Experience in managing and interacting with both internal and external clients.
• Ability for interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships.
