Job summary

Tecnoambiente busca un Especialista en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) para incorporar a un equipo remoto. La persona desarrollará, implementará y vigilará políticas y procedimientos de salud y seguridad, y liderará evaluaciones de riesgos para proyectos de construcción.

Se requiere Master en PRL o equivalente y al menos 5 años en roles similares. El candidato colaborará con equipos de obra y dirección para asegurar cumplimiento normativo y una cultura de seguridad sólida desde su oficina

Qualifications

• Se requiere formación universitaria en Salud y Seguridad.
• Experiencia en formación de equipos en seguridad.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar, implementar y monitorizar sistemas de seguridad para obras a nivel nacional.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos y coordinar inspecciones (remotas o con personal en obra).
• Investigar accidentes y proponer acciones correctivas para evitar recurrencias.
• Asesorar y formar a managers, supervisores y trabajadores en normativas de seguridad.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de la legislación de seguridad laboral vigente.
• Mantener documentación de seguridad, informes y planes de emergencia.
• Colaborar con equipos de proyecto para integrar la seguridad en fases de planificación y ejecución.
• Mantenerse actualizado sobre legislación y tecnología de PRL.
• Fomentar una cultura de seguridad proactiva en toda la organización.

You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert guidance to site teams and management. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety management systems and policies for construction sites nationwide, with a focus on Vigo .
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site inspections (remotely where possible, or coordinating on-site personnel) to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert advice and training to site managers, supervisors, and workers on all aspects of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and regional health and safety legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including reports, records, and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases of construction projects.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in occupational health and safety legislation and technology.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors.

Requirements

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or equivalent official qualification in Spain).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
