Odyssey Hotel Group seeks a Bartender for Novotel Valencia Lavant to deliver friendly, professional service and craft cocktails in a dynamic, international hotel setting. You will set up the bar, prepare drinks, and ensure guests have a memorable experience with attentive service.

Ideal candidates bring passion for beverages and strong guest focus, with at least 1 year in hospitality. English is a plus, and teamwork is essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in bars or Food & Beverage operations.
• Knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation.
• Ability to work in an organised, guest-focused manner in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and stock the bar area before service.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, beverages and guest service, and eager to be part of a dynamic and international environment.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing friendly, professional and efficient service, preparing and serving beverages according to our standards of quality and presentation. You will play a key role in the guest experience by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient and personalised service.

Your main responsibilities will include preparing and setting up the bar, preparing and serving cocktails, mixed drinks, beverages and other menu items, as well as taking and managing orders and responding to our guests' needs. You will also be responsible for keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout the service.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service and an excellent guest experience. We are looking for a dynamic and organised individual with strong communication skills, who is able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude even during busy periods.

A passion for beverages, a strong guest focus, attention to detail and a willingness to learn will be key to succeeding in this role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel environment.

• Previous experience working in bars, restaurants or Food & Beverage operations.

• Knowledge of cocktail, mixed drink and beverage preparation and service.

• Knowledge of service standards and guest service within the hospitality industry.

• Ability to work in an organised, efficient and guest-focused manner in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of languages, especially English, is a plus.

• Knowledge of and compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
