Spendesk seeks a Backend Software Engineer (IC3) to join the AI & Data Products squad in Barcelona, with a hybrid work setup. You will design, build, and operate backend services powering AI-native features, turning predictive logic into reliable product experiences and exposing them via clean APIs.

You will collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to productionize models, ensure observability, and deliver scalable, secure backend solutions across Spendesk’s user journeys.

Formación

• Backend software engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience designing and shipping reliable backend services.
• Strong API design and service layer skills for complex workflows.
• Exposure to ML-enabled or AI-enabled product features is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs powering AI-driven features.
• Translate AI outputs into reliable backend behaviors for user-facing flows.
• Create a robust service layer for integration into real workflows with latency, reliability, and security in mind.
• Own deployment, monitoring, and maintainability for production readiness.
