Job summary
TEKsystems Global Services Madrid is seeking an Associate Practice Manager to support our growing technology consulting practice. You’ll work with the Senior Practice Manager to guide an engineering population of around 30–35 across several tech disciplines.
This hybrid role blends people leadership with technical credibility, coaching, hiring, performance management and workforce planning, while staying closely connected to engineering and delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Genuine technology or engineering background.
- Experience as a Tech Lead / Team Lead or similar.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing people.
- Confidence conducting 1:1s and career conversations.
- Strong communication with engineers; cross-team collaboration.
- Understanding of different engineering career paths.
- Curious about AI developments; stays technically credible.
- Fluent in Spanish; strong English communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead 1:1s, coaching and career-development conversations.
- Develop Individual Development Plans and certifications.
- Drive employee engagement and performance-management activities.
- Workforce planning, utilisation and bench management.
- Support deployment and matching engineers to opportunities.
- Interview and help select new technical talent.
- Collaborate across Practice, Sales, Solutions, Recruitment and Delivery.
- Maintain workforce information and practice reporting.
- Support growth of the Spanish technology practice.
