Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a professional to support Asset Management and Development initiatives in Italy. You will help optimize hotel performance and portfolio value by coordinating analyses, preparing negotiation materials, and presenting to committees.

You will monitor financial/operational performance and support negotiations with owners and partners. Based in Madrid or Milan, travel could be required; the role involves coordinating with regional offices and various

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in an international hotel chain or related firm.
• Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Tourism or Hotel Management.
• High proficiency in Italian and English (oral and written).
• Strong knowledge of finance and P&L understanding.

Responsabilités

• Support Asset Management & Development team on lease negotiations, asset divestments, co-investment deals, development opportunities and corporate transactions.
• Gather and analyze market data, business plans and financial analyses to shape negotiation strategies.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Tax, Building and Operations to align on key understandings.
• Prepare presentations for Top Management and participate in contract negotiations with stakeholders.
• Help drive the department’s annual objectives and contribute to the Action Plan.

This position plays a key role in supporting and driving both Asset Management and Development initiatives within Italy. He/she will contribute to the optimization of hotel performance and portfolio value by coordinating analyses, preparing negotiation materials as well as committee presentations, and ensuring alignment among internal stakeholders. The role includes monitoring the financial and operational performance of assigned assets, supporting negotiations with owners and partners, and proactively contributing to the execution of the team’s strategic objectives.

What will be your mission?

This position plays a key role in supporting and driving both Asset Management and Development initiatives within Italy. He/she will contribute to the optimization of hotel performance and portfolio value by coordinating analyses, preparing negotiation materials as well as committee presentations, and ensuring alignment among internal stakeholders. The role includes monitoring the financial and operational performance of assigned assets, supporting negotiations with owners and partners, and proactively contributing to the execution of the team’s strategic objectives.

What will you do?

Support and assist the Asset Management & Development team in their day-to-day projects in Italy:

• Projects will be related to i) lease negotiations ii) assets divestments iii) co – investment negotiations iv) development opportunities v) corporate transactions
• To gather and analyze all relevant information (market research, data rooms, business plans and financial analysis...) in order to prepare the negotiations strategies or new development projects.
• To be in continuous contact with other departments based in Regional Office Madrid and in the Regional Office Italy such as Legal, Finance, Tax, Building and Operations in order to align the common understanding.
• To prepare presentations for the Top Management of the Company.
• Be involved in the negotiation of the contracts with several stakeholders.
• Coordinate and push for the completion of the department’s yearly objectives and to achieve the consecution of the Action Plan.

What are we looking for?

Experience:

Between 1 to 2 years’ experience in an international hotel chain, international hotel consultancy firm, hotel investment firm or one of the Big Four accounting/consultancy firms would be an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law/Economics/Business Administration/Tourism/Hotel Management
• Knowledge in finance and good understanding of hotel P&L´s
• Master’s degree in finance/law would be an advantage
• High level of Italian and English (oral and written)
• Proficiency level of knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Additional Information

The function hierarchically reports directly to the VP Asset Management based in the Regional Offices offices in Madrid, Spain and the Director of Development Italy based in the Regional offices in Milan, Italy.

Travel could be required.

The position will be based either in Madrid Regional Offices offices or on Milan Regional offices.
