Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to define and implement assembly processes for new products, ensuring robust and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. You will coordinate with design teams, suppliers, and plants to guarantee production readiness while contributing to design-for-manufacturing activities.

The role requires knowledge of both manual and automated assembly, experience with equipment and workstation design, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Formación

• Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering degree, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Knowledge of manual and automated assembly processes.
• Experience with assembly equipment, workstation design, and industrialization projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Availability to travel mainly within Europe and occasionally outside Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Define manual and automated assembly processes according to product and manufacturing requirements.
• Support Design teams by providing assembly and manufacturability constraints. Design for manufacturing activities.
• Prepare technical specifications for assembly equipment and workstations.
• Participate in supplier evaluation and quotation analysis.
• Follow assembly equipment design, manufacturing, and validation activities at supplier facilities.
• Coordinate the implementation of assembly processes and equipment in production plants.
• Support production start-up and resolve assembly-related issues during ramp-up.
• Maintain technical documentation and monitor project milestones and deliverables.
