We Resolve Jamaica, part of Fuerte Group's technical and facility services, seeks an Area Country Manager for Jamaica, stationed in Montego Bay. You will direct industrial laundry operations, manage maintenance, and lead hotel client accounts with autonomy from Spain-based leadership.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial laundries or related operations, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of leadership experience in industrial laundries, facility management, technical maintenance, or hospitality support operations.
• Advanced English and fluent Spanish proficiency for coordination with Jamaica and Spain headquarters.

Responsabilités

• Direct day-to-day industrial laundry operations and technical maintenance.
• Oversee wash processes, dosing units, and optimize water, energy, and chemical consumption.
• Formulate and manage operating budgets, track CAPEX, and report results to headquarters in Spain.

To direct and expand our Caribbean footprint, we are seeking a strategic, technically adept Area Country Manager / Jamaica Regional Delegate (Delegado/a de Zona Jamaica) based on-site in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

In this executive operational role, you will serve as the chief representative for We Resolve in Jamaica and the direct bridge to executive leadership in Spain. Specifically, you will direct industrial laundry plant operations, manage technical plant maintenance, optimize chemical dosing and wash formulas, lead client accounts across premier hotels, control operational budgets, and oversee local technical teams.

Your Mission: Operational Leadership & Industrial Laundry Excellence

Your primary goal involves driving operational efficiency, plant profitability, and premium service quality across our industrial laundry facilities in Jamaica. To achieve this, you will balance rigorous technical leadership with strategic business management. At the same time, you will keep plant machinery, chemical wash formulas, and utility consumption optimized. Therefore, you will oversee plant teams, direct CMMS maintenance schedules, liaise with luxury hotel clients, and report operational results directly to headquarters in Spain. As a result, you will eliminate downtime and safeguard our reputation for operational excellence in the Caribbean.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Operations & Technical Maintenance: Direct day-to-day industrial laundry operations and technical maintenance services, ensuring maximum plant availability, productivity, and machinery reliability.
• Applied Wash Chemistry & Process Optimization: Oversee industrial wash processes, automated chemical dosing systems, and wash formulas. In addition, optimize water, energy, and chemical consumption (detergents, alkalis, bleaches, neutralizers, softeners) while protecting textile lifespan and partnering with leading chemical manufacturers (such as Proquimia or equivalent).
• Business Management & P&L Control: Formulate and manage operating budgets, track capital expenditures (CAPEX), optimize operating costs, coordinate strategic vendors, and report business outcomes regularly to executive leadership in Spain.
• Hotel Client Relations & Account Management: Serve as primary liaison for luxury resort clients, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), resolving operational issues promptly, and identifying new commercial expansion opportunities.
• Team Leadership & Safety Culture: Lead, mentor, and organize local technical and plant operations teams, fostering a culture of workplace safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Who You Are: The Experienced Industrial Operations Leader

• Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven Foundations: You bring at least 6 years of leadership experience within industrial laundries, facility management, technical plant maintenance, or hospitality support operations.
• Technical Mastery: You possess deep knowledge of commercial laundry workflows, applied textile chemistry, automated dosing units, industrial plant management, CMMS/GMAO maintenance software, and cost control KPIs.
• The Linguist: You display advanced English proficiency (essential for local operations in Jamaica) alongside fluent Spanish to coordinate with headquarters in Spain.
• Mobility & Relocation: You are fully willing and available to relocate your residence to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
• Key Competencies: You demonstrate executive decision-making, commercial diplomacy, analytical problem-solving, and decisive leadership under fast-paced operational demands.
