Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is investing in Aragón and seeks a DCO Cluster Manager to build and operate our compute operations teams in this rapidly growing region.

This senior leadership role owns safety, security, availability, scaling, costs, and efficiency across a 24/7 operation, with a strong emphasis on people. You will recruit, hire, and develop managers and 100+ associates, define the regional operational strategy, drive KPI performance, and scale the data center footprint while

Formación

• Experience in managing managers
• Experience hiring and developing strong talent and building a team
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
• Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, or asset management

Responsabilidades

• People Leadership: Build, lead, and develop a team of Data Center Managers and 100+ associates. Recruit talent, grow leaders, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
• Strategic Vision: Define and execute the operational strategy for the Aragón region, aligning with AWS global standards while adapting to local growth demands.
• Operational Excellence: Own all operational KPIs — drive process improvement, automation, and innovation to raise the bar on safety, availability, and efficiency.
• Scaling & Expansion: Plan and execute the operations component of new data center build-outs as the region grows, ensuring readiness from day one.
• Incident Leadership: Manage Large Scale Events and act as call leader, ensuring rapid resolution and clear communication.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across AWS teams to share best practices globally and ensure the region benefits from — and contributes to — operational excellence worldwide.
