Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Cluster Leader in Aragon to guide a large data center organization, ensuring the operational availability of critical MEP systems and alignment with AWS standards.

The role requires senior leadership, capacity planning, security, sustainability, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and local authorities to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
• Experience leading large teams, with demonstrable ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams.
• Experience with hiring, promoting, performance management, and developing teams of professional construction/engineering staff.
• Experience delivering complex projects with prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product.

• Champion inclusion, diversity, and equity initiatives within the regional organization
• Implement sustainability programs and ensure environmental compliance across all facilities
• Oversee financial performance, budget planning, and cost optimization initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics, efficiency, and service delivery
• Hiring, managing, and developing the operations management team

Join AWS at a pivotal moment in our growth in Aragon, Spain. This leadership role will play a key part in our plans to invest €33.7 billion to expand and support data center infrastructure.
The Cluster Leader is one of our most senior management roles in the data center environment. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a large organization, managing department heads who own data center facility infrastructure including the operational availability of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The pace, scale, and growth of Amazon’s data center platform will challenge you. Our uncompromisingly high standards as we continually seek to innovate on behalf of our customers will push you to new levels of creativity.
At this level, Amazon is unique in that we seek experienced senior leaders who have evolved to be highly strategic in their approach to managing their business unit, yet understand how to lead large teams by example who will not hesitation to roll up their sleeves when tactical needs dictate it.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of leading large organizations, with data center experience not required to be successful in this role.
