Datawords is seeking an Arabic Content Manager to join the Arabic Content Production department in Barcelona. You will manage linguistic projects, ensure high-quality Arabic content, and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid onsite-telework setup.

The role requires native-level Arabic writing/editing, English and French, and a background in translation studies. You will lead a multicultural team and contribute to profitable project delivery.

Formación

• Native language writing/editing skills are central to the role.
• BA or MA in Translation Studies / Audiovisual Translation or similar.
• Education and professional experience in your native language.
• Great adaptability, multicultural work environment.
• Strong work ethic, team player.
• Working languages: Literary Arabic, English and French.
• Linguistic project management or translation background.
• Experience with Trados Studio a plus.

Responsabilidades

Job Overview

We are looking for an Arabic Content Manager to join the Arabic Content Production department in Barcelona. The role involves managing linguistic projects, ensuring quality Arabic content, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Linguistic project coordination in a deadline‑driven environment in collaboration with the multilingual and internal production HQ teams in Paris.
• Working closely with clients in Arabic‑speaking markets and multinational internal teams.
• Quality control of Arabic content in a wide variety of styles, terminologies, and formats.
• Overseeing the creation of editorial briefs and glossaries.
• Ensuring copy adheres to the client’s desired style, tone of voice, and brand image.
• Balancing budgets, negotiating deadlines, and ensuring profitability of projects.
• Recruitment and training of copywriters, translators, post‑editors, and proofreaders.

Qualifications

• Highly adaptable, first‑rate writing/editing skills in your native language are central to the role.
• BA or MA in Translation Studies / Audiovisual Translation or similar.
• Education and professional experience in your native language.
• Great adaptability, appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment.
• Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to seeing challenging projects through to completion.
• Working languages mandatory: Literary Arabic (native‑speaker level required), English and French.
• Linguistic project management or translation background.
• Excellent knowledge of Office tools, interest in new technologies, computer savvy.
• Experience with Trados Studio a plus.

Conditions

• Job based in Barcelona, Spain.
• Hybrid onsite‑telework model.
• Full time, 40 hours per week.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• 23 days of annual paid vacation.
