Datawords in Barcelona is seeking an AR Content Manager to coordinate linguistic projects and ensure high-quality Arabic content across formats.

You will collaborate with Arabic-speaking clients and global internal teams, balancing deadlines and budgets while guiding copywriters and translators to deliver on brand tone.

Hybrid onsite-work, full-time, with health insurance, meal vouchers, and travel support offered.

Formación

• Working languages mandatory: Literary Arabic (native-speaker level), English and French.
• BA or MA in Translation Studies/Audiovisual Translation or similar.
• Education and professional experience in your native language.
• Linguistic project management or translation background.
• Excellent knowledge of Office tools; interest in new technologies.
• Experience with Trados Studio a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate linguistic projects with multilingual internal teams and deadline-driven environments.

• Oversee the creation of editorial briefs and glossaries.

• Recruitment and training of copywriters, translators, post-editors, and proofreaders.

AR Content Manager (M/F)

For Datawords Office in Barcelona as part of the Arabic Content Production Dpt., your main responsibilities would include:

• Linguistic project coordination in a bustling, deadline-driven environment in collaboration with the multilingual and internal production HQ teams in Paris.
• Working closely with clients in Arabic-speaking markets and multinational internal teams.
• Quality control of Arabic content in a wide variety of styles, terminologies, and formats.
• Overseeing the creation of editorial briefs and glossaries.
• Ensuring copy adheres to the client’s desired style, tone of voice, and brand image.
• Balancing budgets, negotiating deadlines, and ensuring profitability of projects.
• Recruitment and training of copywriters, translators, post-editors, and proofreaders.

Desired Profile

• Highly adaptable, first‑rate writing/editing skills in your native language are central to the role.
• BA or MA in Translation Studies/Audiovisual Translation or similar.
• Education and professional experience in your native language.
• Great adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment.
• Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to seeing challenging projects through to completion.
• Working languages mandatory: Literary Arabic (native‑speaker level required), English and French.
• Linguistic project management or translation background.
• Excellent knowledge of Office tools, interest in new technologies, computer savvy.
• Experience with Trados Studio a plus.

Conditions

• Job based in Barcelona, Spain.
• Hybrid onsite‑telework model.
• Full time, 40 hours per week.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• 23 days of annual paid vacation.
