Job summary

Omya Inc. in Barcelona is seeking an AR/Finance professional to manage customer incidents, collections, and closing support. You will build credibility with clients and internal teams, driving efficient cash collection and accurate financial reporting.

You will work in a hybrid model and collaborate across departments, using SAP, Autobank, Salesforce, and Smarteye to automate processes and improve outcomes, with English and Romanian required and German a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in AR or a related Finance role (e.g., Cash Allocation, Cash Collection, Dispute Management).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Autobank, Salesforce, Smarteye) is a plus.
• Experience with automation of credit to cash processes between tools.
• Strong analytical skills to understand account situations and solve problems.
• Clear and strong communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Fluent Romanian and English required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents with customers about queries and payments.
• Build relationships and credibility with internal and external customers.
• Proactively handle collections within a portfolio of customers as per company policies.
• Ensure proper financial measures for collections.
• Address insolvencies according to company policies and procedures.
• Provide support in accounting closings.
