Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Barcelona is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to design, build and deploy innovative data analytics and generative AI solutions for internal and external customers.

You will apply AI/ML models end-to-end, build MLOps on Azure and GCP, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable, cost-aware AI systems. Fluency in English is required; hybrid work in Barcelona is offered.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable education.
• 3+ years of professional AI/ML experience.
• Ability to design, implement and maintain AI-driven applications on cloud.
• Strong experience with end-to-end AI/ML solutions developing.
• Data pipelines and MLOps experience; Kubernetes.
• Experience with RAG architectures and monitoring with LLM observability tools.
• Develop and deploy agentic AI solutions using an agent framework (e.g., ADK).
• Excellent Python programming and familiarity with scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills; good communication; initiative.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy innovative solutions in data analytics, machine learning and generative AI.
• Apply ML and generative AI models for end-to-end solution building.
• Build MLOps on cloud (Azure and GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI model review, code refactoring, containerization, deployment, versioning and monitoring.
• AI model validation, test automation and integration.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, business units, UX designers and IT.
