Volotea is seeking an AOG Logistics Specialist to act as the go‑to person when time is critical and aircraft are grounded. You will coordinate urgent material requests, check inventories in AMOS, and arrange shipments with suppliers and forwarders to keep aviation moving.

You will work in a hybrid Barcelona setup, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to minimize delays and maintain accurate inventory records. The role requires 2+ years in logistics and strong problem‑solving under pressure.

Formación

• 2+ years in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or material management (aviation MRO/OEM a plus).
• Familiar with inventory systems (AMOS preferred) and aircraft/engine/component records.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills under pressure.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with ability to make quick decisions in high-stakes situations.
• Willingness to work shift patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process AOG and urgent material requests from MCC and Logistics.
• Check AMOS or inventory systems to confirm availability and interchangeability.
• Select optimal sourcing location based on lead time and stock levels.
• Arrange and coordinate shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, and stations.
• Maintain continuous information flow among shipper, consignee, vendor and forwarder.
• Track shipment progress in real time and resolve delays.
• Process shipment documentation complying with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Confirm receipt transactions in the system to keep inventory records updated.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations to find efficient logistics under time pressure.

How will it be to work with us?

• Receive and process AOG and urgent material requests from MCC and the Logistics Department, confirming exact part/tooling/material details.

• Check AMOS or relevant inventory systems to determine availability, location, and interchangeability of required parts.

• Select the optimal sourcing location based on lead time, stock levels, and available shipping methods.

• Arrange and coordinate shipments from pick-up to delivery — liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, and internal stations.

• Ensure continuous information flow between shipper, consignee, vendor, and forwarder throughout the shipment process.

• Track and monitor shipment progress in real time, proactively resolving any delays or issues.

• Process all shipment documentation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

• Confirm receipt transactions in the system upon delivery so inventory records remain up to date.

• Adapt quickly to changing situations, finding the most efficient logistics solution under time-critical conditions.

• Experience: 2+ years in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or material management (aviation MRO/OEM experience is a plus).

• Knowledge: Familiar with inventory systems (AMOS preferred), aircraft/engine/component records, and Microsoft Office.
