Volotea in Barcelona is seeking a Fleet Technical Manager to coordinate aircraft transitions, deliveries, and redeliveries. You will act as the technical POC with lessors during audits and acceptance procedures, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and lease terms.

You will collaborate with MROs, maintenance, engineering, legal, and operations, review documentation, and support risk assessments.

• Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

• Review documentation to ensure EASA/AESA compliance and lease terms.
• Support risk assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Legal, and Operations during transitions.

How will it be to work with us?

• Support the coordination of aircraft deliveries and redeliveries, helping ensure smooth and timely transitions.
• Act as the technical POC (point of contact) with lessors during audits, and technical acceptance/rejection procedures.
• Coordinate with MROs and service providers to ensure necessary repairs, modifications, or reconfigurations are completed.
• Provide technical support for aircraft lease agreements, acquisitions, or sales.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks, modifications, and reconfigurations to meet required standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams like Maintenance, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to support aircraft transition activities.
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with EASA/AESA regulations and lease agreements.
• Contribute to preparing technical reports, identifying discrepancies, and supporting risk assessments.

Ready to join us?

What will make you succeed in this position:

• A degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s in Aircraft Engineering is a plus).
• +2 years of experience in fleet technical management.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft transition projects, preferably involving the Airbus A320 family will be ideal.
• Familiarity with AMOS and working with Airbus manuals and data sources.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills, a methodical and analytical mindset, and a service-oriented attitude.
