Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain is seeking an Aircraft Performance Engineer to join the Aircraft Performance team within the Flight Physics Centre of Competence. You will report to the Head of Aircraft Performance and contribute to performance deliverables across AD&S fixed-wing programs, with a focus on development, flight tests and certification.

The role requires a Master's in Aeronautical Engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English

Formación

• Master's degree required in Aeronautical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in Aircraft Performance (development, flight test and certification).
• Passion for continuous improvement.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever is necessary; owner mentality.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• English skills at negotiation level; German/Spanish skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Be accountable for aircraft performance activities across current and future programs and certification processes.
• Support design phases in future programs and derivatives of existing products.
• Carry out performance studies to support sales campaigns and RFPs and customer enquiries.
• Support flight data analysis activities for development, certification, training, incident investigations.
• Implement roadmaps for harmonization and maintenance of tools and data management.
