Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer to join the Flight Physics Department. You will contribute to development and support of vehicles, define mass status, and deliver mass models for loads analyses, while collaborating with multiple disciplines to optimise design.

The role requires a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and 0–5 years of experience, with advanced English; German is a plus.

Formación

• Educated to degree level in Aeronautical Engineering.
• 0-5 years of experience; Flight Physics or Structural Design and Mass Properties experience valued.
• English advanced; German helpful.
• Willingness to work in a transnational team.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to development of new vehicles and operational support of in-service vehicles and decommissioning.
• Define mass status, target mass and route to target.
• Deliver mass models for Loads analyses and weight control.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to optimise vehicle design for mass.
• Contribute to design reviews, weight maturity reviews and mass risk & opportunities.
• Support marketing to prepare Customer Guarantees and vehicle deliveries.
