Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer in Getafe (Madrid) to assess and assure the structural integrity of aerospace products under dynamic and aeroelastic conditions.

The role involves developing numerical models, performing detailed analyses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in Python, Matlab/Simulink, and Nastran/Patran is required, with strong English communication skills and a permanent contract.

Formación

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics analysis.
• Advanced level in Spanish & English (written & spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Develop and validate numerical models for flutter and divergence prediction.
• Conduct loads analysis to determine critical design conditions.
• Use simulation tools (Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink) for investigations.
• Script in Python to automate analyses and post-process results.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, stress, and testing engineers.
• Interpret ground/flight test data related to dynamics and aeroelasticity.
• Maintain documentation of analyses and methodologies.
• Communicate findings in English to internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and communications using MS Office.
