Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer to join our aerospace team. You will perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components, develop and validate numerical models, and use Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink for simulations.

• Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven aeroelasticity and structural dynamics experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Develop and validate numerical models for flutter and other aeroelastic phenomena.
• Conduct loads analysis to determine critical design conditions.
• Use Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink for simulations and modeling.
• Create Python scripts to automate analyses and post-process results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings.
• Collaborate with design, stress, and testing engineers.
• Interpret ground/flight test data related to dynamics and aeroelasticity.
• Maintain documentation of analyses and methodologies.
• Present findings in English to stakeholders; manage project documentation in MS Office.
