Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary Flight Physics team. The role includes an 18–24 month secondment in Manching (Germany) to contribute to EF2000 development, then return to Getafe to support the program and other aircraft projects.

You will work on external shape design, advanced aerodynamic modeling, and wind tunnel testing within an international collaboration, aligning with TCQ goals and program milestones.

Formación

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering required.
• Willingness to undertake an international secondment; aerospace environment experience valued.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
• English and Spanish proficiency both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of aerodynamic principles and numerical prediction tools is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Design air vehicle external shapes and develop aerodynamic models, data, and loads.
• Develop and maintain advanced aerodynamic tools and methods for program specs.
• Contribute to vehicle aerodynamics and flight performance across design phases.
• Advance innovative aerodynamic technologies aligned with company strategy.
• Interface with external research communities in aerodynamics and design optimization.
• Collaborate with structures, loads, stability, control, and mass properties teams.
