DP World in Barcelona seeks an Air Freight Specialist to execute Freight Forwarding activities within the Branch Office and to build strong customer relationships. You will resolve issues, monitor market trends, and ensure a high level of satisfaction while coordinating with airlines and carriers for capacity and cost effectiveness.

You will support account setup with Sales, manage export/import documentation, and ensure accurate and timely shipments across the network.

Formación

• 3+ years in Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.
• Solid knowledge of freight forwarding processes and industry practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver on time.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general digital literacy.
• Fluent English and Spanish written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics.
• Support account setup and coordinate with Sales to ensure all required documentation and SOP inputs are provided.
• Monitor and audit files regularly to ensure compliance with estimate input, margin requirements, and timely invoicing.
• Support clients with day-to-day requests related to export/import documentation to ensure accurate execution of transportation files.
• Provide clients with complete flight/sailing details to ensure clear and timely information flow.
• Liaise with airlines and ocean carriers to obtain optimal solutions in terms of capacity and cost.
• Collaborate with internal network teams and external partner agents to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Respond promptly to operational challenges or urgent situations that may arise during shipment handling.
• Collaborate with Operations colleagues to ensure continuity of work during peak volumes or absences.

What You Will Bring

• At least 3 years of recent experience in Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.
• Solid working knowledge of freight forwarding processes and industry practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver accurate, timely results.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general digital literacy.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English and Spanish(written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
