Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on AI-powered voice experiences. You will design, build, and deploy production AI agents, owning end-to-end delivery with customer collaboration. The role requires hands-on work with LLMs, integration patterns, and data pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software delivery, a CS degree, and comfort with Python/JS/Java/Apex, plus willingness to travel about 25% to work directly with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through, ideally in an AI tech stack or full-stack development.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience — a requirement, not optional.
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, and willing to expand.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to explain prompt failures and improvements.
• Understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns to design them, not only consume.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations; production deployments for major enterprises.
• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own end-to-end components from architecture to deployed, observable production artifacts.
• Build and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Model data, ship pipelines, and validate outputs; maintain agent performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move from sketch to deployable in days.
