Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic enterprise customers. You will architect, deploy, and production-hand off complex AI systems within customer environments, mentoring peers and shaping engineering standards.

You will work with tools like LangChain/LlamaIndex, leverage Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks, and collaborate with Deployment Strategists to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production environments.
• Deep experience in data modeling and analytics across platforms.
• Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs.
• Willingness to travel ~25% with customers.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce's most strategic customers—from architecture decisions through production handoff.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails.
• Own the data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness for AI applications across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Resolve blockers: data integration failures, model deployment issues, orchestration problems, performance regressions.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs quickly, with judgment on what can be deferred.
• Codify learnings into playbooks and reusable assets for the org.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing sessions.
• Provide depth on deployments when senior judgment is needed.
• Surface field insights to Product and Engineering for roadmap inputs.
• Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into agentic solutions.
