Kiloverse in Barcelona, Spain seeks a video editor for short-form social ads. Edit and iterate videos for Meta, TikTok and YouTube with 1.5+ years of experience and proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or CapCut. Work with strategists and independently when briefs aren’t available.

4 days onsite and 1 flexible remote day. Gross salary is 2500–3000 EUR/month for a full-time freelance role, with potential to transition into a permanent payroll position.

• Edit, iterate, and polish short-form video ads optimized for conversion across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Take raw footage, UGC, and assets provided by Creative Strategists and transform them into high-performing ad variations (testing different hooks, CTAs, visual styles, and pacing).

• Collaborate closely with strategists, but maintain the autonomy to improvise, draft quick edits, or work independently when detailed briefs aren\'t available.

• Analyze performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS) alongside the team to understand what’s converting and refine visual hooks accordingly.

• Utilize modern AI tools and automated workflows to increase editing speed and boost creative experimentation.

• Continuously research social media trends, competitor ads, and viral UGC formats to keep our video output fresh and competitive.

We expect you to

• Have 1.5+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally focused on short-form social media ads or performance marketing campaigns.

• Be highly skilled in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or CapCut).

• Possess a solid understanding of short-form ad dynamics-knowing what makes a hook work, how to maintain viewer retention, and how to drive action.

• Be a hands-on self-starter who takes ownership of video deliverables, manages timelines effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Be eager to incorporate emerging AI tools into your daily editing process to work smarter and faster.

• Have strong English communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with remote and local team members.

Salary

Gross salary range is 2500-3000 EUR/month.

This is a full-time freelance opportunity, with the potential to transition into a permanent payroll position in the future.

Location

Barcelona, Spain: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote.
