Virtusa is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer in Madrid, Spain, to lead development of GenAI and multi-agent systems. You will design architecture, implement scalable solutions, and collaborate with clients to deploy AI-powered applications.

The role requires strong Python skills, expertise with Docker and cloud-native practices, and hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks and FastAPI-based REST APIs.

Formación

• 5-10 years of software engineering, ML/AI experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and modern software practices.
• Experience deploying GenAI/LLM-powered apps.
• Familiar with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and multi-agent systems.
• Experience building RESTful APIs (FastAPI).
• Proficient with Docker and cloud-native development.
• Familiar with Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, or similar services.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze clients' IT processes to identify data asset generation methods.
• Advise on data architecture, management, warehousing, and data lake strategies.
• Lead teams in designing AI/ML architectures and GenAI systems.

Descripción del empleo

• 5-10 years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, or AI engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying GenAI, Agentic AI, or LLM-powered applications.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Pydantic AI, AG2, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, tool calling, agent memory, and multi-agent architectures.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML, Azure Functions, App Services, or similar platforms.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
