LinkedIn is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to partner with enterprise clients in designing and delivering production-ready AI solutions. You’ll own projects from discovery and architecture through implementation and deployment, building intelligent systems powered by LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and modern AI workflows.

You’ll design scalable pipelines, evaluate architectures, and balance performance, cost, and latency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise-grade AI

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and production-ready LLM-based apps.

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to partner with enterprise clients in designing and delivering production-ready AI solutions. You’ll own projects from discovery and architecture through implementation and deployment, building intelligent systems powered by LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and modern AI workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI applications with an agent-first approach.
Build scalable RAG pipelines and integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms using MCP and modern tooling.
Define evaluation strategies, benchmarks, and quality frameworks to ensure reliable AI systems from prototype to production.
Recommend and implement the most suitable architecture, balancing LLMs, SLMs, hybrid approaches, cost, latency, and performance.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software engineering. Building and shipping LLM-based applications into production environments.
Solid experience developing AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI solutions.
Experience designing evaluation pipelines, automated benchmarks, LLM-as-a-Judge methodologies, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes.
Deep knowledge of LLM/SLM capabilities, prompt and context engineering, and agentic system design.
