Job summary

Eleven VMS, part of Mantu, is expanding its Data and AI team in Madrid with a skilled Data Scientist to design, build and deploy ML and AI models that turn data into actionable insights and product features.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders, work on Azure and Databricks deployments, and stay at the forefront of AI advances to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models, preferably on Databricks / Azure.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Strong background in statistics, machine learning and experimentation; experience with LLMs is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial, you are embracing challenges with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evaluate machine learning and AI models (including generative AI and LLM-based solutions) to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify, frame and prioritize analytics and AI use cases.
• Work with the data engineering team to deploy models into production on Azure and Databricks, and monitor their performance over time.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay up to date on the latest advances in data science and AI and incorporate them into our solutions.
