Job summary

Eleven VMS, part of Mantu, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design scalable data pipelines and develop our data architecture in Madrid. You will work with analysts and scientists to deliver impactful analytics solutions and help govern data assets.

Hybrid work options are available, and you will collaborate with an international team across Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark to enable end-to-end data delivery and governance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• At least 3/4 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based data platforms preferably on Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark.
• Strong background in data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial, you are embracing challenges with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines on Azure using Databricks.
• Collaborate with data and AI teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of analytics use cases.
• Support deployment of AI developments into production, enabling end-users to access insights.
• Establish data governance policies and data standards.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and incorporate them into the design of our data platform.
