Job summary

Eleven VMS is building a fast-growing Data and AI team in Málaga. We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to design, build and deploy ML and AI models that turn data into actionable insights and new product features.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver impactful AI solutions. Ideal candidates have a Master's degree and 1–2 years of hands-on ML experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience with Databricks and Azure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in data science or ML.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models, preferably on Databricks / Azure.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Strong background in statistics, machine learning and experimentation; experience with LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evaluate machine learning and AI models (including generative AI and LLM-based solutions) to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify, frame and prioritize analytics and AI use cases.
• Work with the data engineering team to deploy models into production on Azure and Databricks, and monitor their performance over time.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay up to date on the latest advances in data science and AI and incorporate them into our solutions.
