Astek Iberia busca un AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead para una empresa líder en retail y eCommerce, para definir soluciones de IA empresariales, escalar capacidades y liderar un equipo técnico.

El candidato ideal tiene 5+ años en IA/ML, experiencia en producción, Azure, MLOps y Python, y habilidades de liderazgo para guiar a Engineers y Data Scientists. Se valoran entornos Microsoft Azure y capacidad de comunicación en inglés.

Formación

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en Inteligencia Artificial, Aprendizaje Automático o Analítica Avanzada.
• Experiencia comprobada en llevar soluciones de IA a entornos de producción.
• Experiencia previa como Líder Técnico, Lead AI Engineer o rol similar.
• Experiencia sólida en IA Generativa, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG y AI Agents.
• Desarrollos avanzados en Python y fundamentos de ingeniería de software.
• Experiencia con entornos en la nube, preferentemente Microsoft Azure, y servicios como Azure OpenAI.
• Fuerte comprensión de prácticas MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes y gestión del ciclo de vida del modelo.
• Conocimiento de arquitecturas escalables, sistemas distribuidos y gobernanza de IA.
• Título en Informática, Ingeniería, Matemáticas, Telecomunicaciones o disciplina técnica relacionada.
• Nivel profesional de inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y desplegar soluciones de IA escalables en entornos de producción.
• Construir aplicaciones de IA Generativa incluyendo AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG y Copilots.
• Definir estándares y buenas prácticas de arquitectura de IA.
• Dirigir decisiones técnicas y orientar a Ingenieros de IA y Científicos de Datos.
• Impulsar iniciativas de MLOps, asegurando despliegue confiable, monitorización y gobernanza de IA.
• Colaborar con stakeholders para traducir requisitos en productos de IA de impacto.

At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to join a leading company in the Retail & eCommerce sector and play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise AI solutions.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on AI expert with strong technical leadership skills who is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions in a large-scale environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions in production environments.
• Build Generative AI applications including AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG architectures, and AI Copilots.
• Define AI architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Drive MLOps initiatives, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful AI products.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production environments.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead AI Engineer, or similar senior role.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Advanced Python development skills and solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, and services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, distributed systems, and AI governance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional-level English.

Nice to have:

• Experience within Retail or eCommerce environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Vector Databases, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience developing enterprise AI copilots and agentic AI solutions.
• Cloud or AI certifications (Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud).
