Astek Iberia busca un Ingeniero de Software senior especializado en desarrollo asistido por IA para liderar la adopción de prácticas de IA en equipos de ingeniería en España.

El rol combina desarrollo práctico, coaching y gobernanza, definiendo estándares de código generado por IA y promoviendo seguridad, pruebas y cumplimiento en todo el ciclo de vida del software.

Formación

• 5–10 años de experiencia en Ingeniería de Software.
• Dominio de Python y TS/JS.
• Experiencia con herramientas de codificación AI (Copilot, LLMs).
• Familiaridad con CI/CD y prácticas DevOps.
• Fluido en inglés y permiso de trabajo en España.

Responsabilidades

• Definir y estandarizar las mejores prácticas para la codificación asistida por IA.
• Crear playbooks, bibliotecas de prompts y patrones reutilizables.
• Promover un uso responsable de la IA con validación humana.
• Liderar equipos para sus primeras aplicaciones asistidas por IA.
• Revisar e impulsar implementaciones hacia producción de calidad.
• Actuar como coach técnico para ingenieros.
• Evaluar e integrar herramientas como Copilot, Cursor IDE.
• Incorporar IA en el ciclo de desarrollo (IDE, CI/CD, revisiones de código).
• Desarrollar tooling interno para escalar la adopción.

Main responsibilities

This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on development, coaching, and governance, where you will shape how AI is used in software engineering at scale.

• Define and standardize best practices for AI-assisted coding
• Create playbooks, prompt libraries, and reusable patterns
• Promote responsible AI usage with strong human validation
• Partner with teams to build their first AI-assisted applications
• Review and guide implementations to production quality
• Act as a technical coach for engineers
• Evaluate and integrate tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE
• Embed AI into the development lifecycle (IDE, CI/CD, code reviews)
• Develop internal tooling to scale adoption
• Define standards for AI-generated code (testing, security, performance)
• Establish adapted code review processes
• Ensure compliance (security, licensing, data privacy)
• Share best practices and lessons learned across teams

Who are you?

• 5-10 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Strong coding skills (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or similar)
• Experience building production-grade applications
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, LLMs, etc.)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM limitationsExperience mentoring or enabling teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Fluent English
• Spanish work permit
