Jungheinrich Digital Solutions Spain busca un Ingeniero Principal de IA con visión de extremo a extremo para conectar necesidades de negocio con soluciones técnicas. Se espera desarrollo práctico y diseño arquitectónico de soluciones de IA en producción, con enfoque en gobernanza, seguridad y coste.

La posición combina trabajo hands-on y diseño de sistemas, orientada a un entorno internacional y a la implementación de soluciones escalables para plataformas de alquiler y comercio electrónico.

Formación

• Experiencia en diseño y despliegue de sistemas AI/GenAI en producción.
• Pensamiento en sistemas: arquitectura, seguridad y operaciones de IA.
• Capacidad de liderazgo y alineación de partes interesadas.

Responsabilidades

• Construir la base AI para la plataforma de comercio electrónico (proyecto Greenfield).
• Diseñar la arquitectura end-to-end de sistemas AI listos para producción.
• Definir patrones de flujo de trabajo agentic y orquestación entre herramientas e integraciones.

About the role:

We are looking for a Principal AI Engineer with an end-to-end vision of AI systems, able to connect business needs with technical solutions. The role combines hands-on development with architectural design, focusing on building, automating, and deploying production-grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the AI-first foundation for e-commerce platform (Greenfield):
• Help design the end-to-end architectural structure for production-grade AI systems powering a rental platform (not just prototypes).
• Architect LLM/agentic RAG and agentic workflow patterns (orchestration, tool use, integrations) aligned with enterprise-grade quality and reliability expectations.
• Establish standards for governance, safety guardrails, evaluation, monitoring/observability, auditability and cost control for AI in production.
• Build/guide the implementation of agentic workflows (multi-step automation, tool calling, structured outputs, human approvals).
• Help shape operational building blocks like pricing and fleet logic where AI automation is a lever to boost effectiveness and customer centricity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science (CS), Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering - or comparable practical experience. (Great base, but not a must.)
• Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AI/GenAI systems (not only PoCs), including architecture decisions that stand up in real operations.
• Strong systems thinking across architecture, reliability, security, governance, and operations for AI workloads.
• Ability to lead through influence: reference architectures, standards, reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment
• Working style: Entrepreneurial, structured, hands-on, outcome-driven; comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel as required for rollout and market enablement.
