Astek Iberia is seeking an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to shape enterprise AI solutions for a leading Retail & eCommerce company in Spain. You will design, deploy, and scale AI systems, lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, and drive MLOps, governance, and production readiness across the solution lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python, cloud experience (Azure OpenAI), and a track record of delivering production AI with scalable architectures.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions in production environments.
• Build Generative AI applications including AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG architectures, and AI Copilots.
• Define AI architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Drive MLOps initiatives, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.

At ASTEK Iberia , we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to join a leading company in the Retail & eCommerce sector and play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise AI solutions.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on AI expert with strong technical leadership skills who is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling cutting‑edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions in a large‑scale environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions in production environments.
• Build Generative AI applications including AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG architectures, and AI Copilots.
• Define AI architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Drive MLOps initiatives, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful AI products.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production environments.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead AI Engineer, or similar senior role.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Advanced Python development skills and solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure , and services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, distributed systems, and AI governance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional‑level English.

Nice to have:

• Experience within Retail or eCommerce environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Vector Databases, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience developing enterprise AI copilots and agentic AI solutions.
• Cloud or AI certifications (Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud).
