ASTEK Iberia seeks an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to drive scalable AI solutions for a major Retail & eCommerce client. You will design, implement and deploy AI applications, including Generative AI agents and RAG systems, while shaping the technical roadmap and best practices.

You will mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists, lead architecture decisions, and ensure robust MLOps, governance, and production-grade deployments across a large-scale environment.

Formación

• 5+ years in AI/ML/Advanced Analytics.
• Proven production AI delivery experience.
• Prior technical lead or senior AI engineer role.
• Strong GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents expertise.
• Advanced Python development and solid software engineering.
• Experience with Azure and Azure OpenAI services.
• Strong MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, distributed systems, AI governance.
• Degree in a technical field.
• Professional-level English.

At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / AI Tech Lead to join a leading company in the Retail & eCommerce sector and play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise AI solutions.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on AI expert with strong technical leadership skills who is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions in a large-scale environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions in production environments.
• Build Generative AI applications including AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG architectures, and AI Copilots.
• Define AI architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor AI Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Drive MLOps initiatives, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and governance of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful AI products.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production environments.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead AI Engineer, or similar senior role.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Advanced Python development skills and solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, and services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, distributed systems, and AI governance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional-level English.

Nice to have:

• Experience within Retail or eCommerce environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Vector Databases, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience developing enterprise AI copilots and agentic AI solutions.
• Cloud or AI certifications (Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud).
