Qualifyze is seeking an Operations Engineer to scale our organization via process automation and AI integration. You will identify bottlenecks, design intelligent workflows, and deliver data‑driven automated solutions to improve productivity and quality across the Finance department, working with BI and Data Engineering teams.

The role bridges business processes, data engineering, and technology, requiring strong programming in Python/Java, SQL, and experience with dbt, APIs, and cloud

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of business processes with a strong process‑mapping mindset.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java, with strong SQL.
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt or similar frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience executing automations.
• Practical experience with LLMs and AI agents, including production workflows.
• Solid DevOps knowledge: containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), deployment practices.
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and webhooks to automate cross‑system workflows.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent collaboration, stakeholder communication, and ownership across teams.
• Proactive, self‑driven mindset with cost vs. performance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and scope high‑impact transformation opportunities through AI and automation.
• Map, document, and analyze processes, data flows, and systems across tools.
• Design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions from PoC to production.
• Establish monitoring for quality, performance, and safety; ensure compliant data use.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI to design ingestion and transformation pipelines using dbt and LLM workflows in Python.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation and simplification.
