Job summary

Aurora Live is seeking a proactive HR Specialist to join the People team in Barcelona. You will own day-to-day HR administration, ensure accurate employee records, and drive scalable, AI-enabled workflows with human validation.

You will partner with payroll, finance, and talent acquisition across markets, shaping processes for a growing, international organization. English required; GDPR knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of HR administration/operations experience in international environments.
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
• Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR documentation.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with process improvement ideas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR administration in HRIS, ensuring accurate records, absences, and changes.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and related documentation for a smooth experience.
• Review and improve HR processes, workflows, and automation to scale with the business.
• Design and maintain automated and AI-assisted workflows with human review steps.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day HR questions (employees & managers).
• Develop clear workflows, templates, and documentation to simplify HR activities.
• Prepare and maintain data, reports, and documentation for payroll, performance cycles, and other HR activities.
• Perform regular data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders.
• Support ongoing HR projects to strengthen operations and employee experience.
