OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks a Technical Deployment Lead to define delivery strategies for complex customer systems. You will own end-to-end delivery, embed with customer teams, and ensure on-time, scalable deployments that meet business goals.

This role combines deep technical project management with high autonomy, partnering with Product and Research to guide roadmaps and drive measurable impact.

Formación

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership.
• Track record delivering large, complex deployments with AI components.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical plans and roadmaps.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.
• Comfort working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical delivery plan across multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Lead day-to-day engineering execution with internal and customer teams.
• Embed with customer teams to land deployments and drive adoption.
• Partner with Product and Research to align roadmaps with deployment goals.
• Codify reusable patterns and field signals to inform product directions.
• Define success metrics, baselines, and KPIs; report outcomes to exec sponsors.
