Airbus Defence And Space in Getafe, Madrid, Spain, seeks an engineer to perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components. You will build and validate models for flutter and aeroelastic phenomena, collaborate with design, stress, and testing teams, and interpret ground/flight test data.

The role requires advanced skills in Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink, and Python scripting, with strong English and Spanish proficiency and the ability to present

Formación

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Proven aeroelasticity and structural dynamics experience.
• Strong loads analysis knowledge.
• Experience with Nastran/Patran for FEA.
• Matlab/Simulink proficiency for data analysis and modeling.
• Python scripting for automation and post-processing.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and independently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Develop and validate numerical models for flutter, divergence and aeroelastic phenomena.
• Conduct loads analyses to determine critical design conditions.
• Use simulation tools (Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink) for dynamic investigations.
• Write Python scripts to automate analysis and post-processing.
• Prepare technical reports and present results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, stress, and testing teams.
• Interpret ground/flight test data related to dynamics and aeroelasticity.
