Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid region is seeking an entry‑level Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to contribute to structural dynamics tasks for space structures and components. The role emphasizes design verification, FEM modeling, and software tool development.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with experience in aerospace structures, FEM, and proficiency in Nastran/Hyperworks. English and Spanish fluency is required.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in design and verification of aerospace structures preferred.
• Proficiency in static/dynamic structural analysis (FEM) and manual calculations.
• Proficiency in Nastran and Hyperworks; programming in Matlab, Python, VBA or C++ desirable.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and understand mechanical requirements for design verification.
• Perform static and dynamic structural analyses for space structures.
• Conduct mechanical performance analyses for high‑precision instruments.
• Support simulation, testing oversight and post-test correlation.
• Develop FEM models focusing on model validation.
• Verify joints strength per ESA standards.
• Develop internal tools for workflow optimization.
• Document mathematical models and test outcomes.
