Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain seeks a mechanically minded engineer to perform structural analyses and testing for space structures. You will develop FEM models, verify joints per ESA standards, and contribute to tool development and documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, experience in aerospace structures, and strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in the design and verification of aerospace structures.
• Proficiency in FEM analysis and manual calculations.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Identify mechanical requirements for analyses.
• Perform static and dynamic structural analyses.
• Analyze mechanical performance for high-precision instruments.
• Support testing and simulation of vibration; post-test assessment.
• Develop FEM models using FEM tools.
• Verify joints per ESA standards.
• Develop internal tools; document processes.
