Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer to analyze aerospace structures under dynamic conditions. You will develop and validate numerical models to predict flutter, divergence, and aeroelastic phenomena.

You'll use Nastran/Patran and Matlab/Simulink, script in Python for automation, and prepare technical reports. Collaboration with design, stress, and testing teams, and communication in English to stakeholders.

Formación

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience in aeroelasticity and structural dynamics analysis.
• Proficiency with loads analysis methodologies.
• Experience using Nastran/Patran for finite element analysis.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink for data analysis, modeling, and simulation.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Teamwork and independent work ability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform aeroelastic and structural dynamics analyses for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Develop and validate numerical models for flutter, divergence, and aeroelastic phenomena.
• Conduct loads analysis to determine critical design conditions for structural components.
• Utilize simulation software (Nastran/Patran, Matlab/Simulink) for investigations.
• Implement Python scripts for automation and post-processing of results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing analysis results.
• Collaborate with design, stress, and testing engineers.
• Interpret flight test data related to structural dynamics and aeroelasticity.
• Maintain documentation of analyses and methodologies.
• Present findings in English to stakeholders.
• Manage project documents and communications with MS Office.
