UST España & Latam is seeking an Adhoc Reporting Specialist in Madrid with strong SQL, Dataiku, and data analysis experience within banking operations. You will design and deliver ad hoc and recurring reports, collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions, and ensure data governance and regulatory compliance.

The role is hybrid in Madrid with multiple benefits and growth opportunities.

• Analyze complex datasets and present insights in business-friendly formats.
• Ensure data governance, quality, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify improvements to reporting processes and document dependencies.

What we look for?

We are looking for a Adhoc Reporting Specialist with strong expertise in SQL-based reporting and data analysis, combined with a solid understanding of banking operations and core banking systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can work closely with stakeholders, translate business requirements into reporting solutions, and ensure the delivery of accurate, secure, and actionable insights.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable ad hoc and recurring reports to support business needs.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, gather specifications, and manage expectations.

Design, develop, and maintain custom reports using data from systems such as T24, CRM/CLM, KYC platforms, Oracle Database, and the Global Data Platform (Trino).

Analyze, transform, and present complex datasets in a clear and business-focused format.

Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance standards.

Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing reporting processes and solutions.

Support knowledge sharing by documenting reporting processes, business logic, and dependencies.

Serve as a key point of contact for reporting-related queries and stakeholder support.

What do we expect from you?

Proven experience in report development and data extraction with advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation, workflow automation, and analytical projects.

Strong understanding of the banking industry, including core banking processes such as customer onboarding, account management, and transaction handling.

Ability to work directly with internal clients, using a consultative approach to gather and clarify business requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of deliverables.

Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset.

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau and Dataiku.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.
