Babel Profiles in Barcelona is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an international finance environment. You will own complex AP cases, act as the technical reference for the team, and drive improvements to ensure reliable financial operations.

Responsibilities include day-to-day AP processing, collaborating with suppliers and global stakeholders, coaching peers, and supporting month-end closings. The role is permanent with a hybrid model and a salary of €27,000–€30,000 gross per year.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience in AP or P2P processes.
• Strong understanding of supplier accounting and closing processes.
• Advanced English for international communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices, handling complex cases and escalations.
• Serve as the AP technical reference and guide the team on operational and accounting issues.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support month-end and year-end closings.
• Investigate root causes of discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Train and mentor new team members to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal/ international stakeholders to improve processes.
